Our goal is to be the hands and feet of God to serve others
2022 - Due to multiple prior commitments, our service work over spring break will take place in the Bemidji area for one weekend, March 5-6, 2022. We will be helping Habitat for Humanity at Restore, on Saturday morning; we will help the KC"S with their pancake breakfast on Sunday morning, and we hope to be able to help at the Bemidji Community Food Shelf and People's Church, too. In addition to service work, we will be watching the FOCUS SEEK2022 Conference, making time to pray, and enjoying some good meals & fun activities together.
In 2021, no spring-break mission trip was taken , due to COVID precautions & travel restrictions..
In 2020, we traveled to Memphis, TN. COVID-19 cancelled our service to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital and a nursing home, so we had more time to serve at the St. Vincent de Paul food mission, Calvary Rescue homeless program, and a Christian neighborhood youth program. We met many wonderful people! Thanks to the KC's & all who contributed & supported the Newman Club!
In 2019 we served in two Miami homeless shelters, The Camillus House & Mother Teresa's Missionaries of Charity. In 2018, our group traveled to the San Luis Valley in Colorado to serve multiple parishes there, cleaning, yard work, painting, etc.
